Old Mission Capital is a proprietary trading firm that was founded in 2008.   In the competitive world of electronic trading, we use quantitative techniques and advanced technology to identify profitable trading opportunities around the globe.  Our firm is made up of individuals seeking to be part of a team that is constantly striving for improvement and never content with the status quo. Management is committed to the development of our team members and making sure they feel challenged and engaged in the company's growth.

Old Mission Capital, a proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago, New York and London, is currently recruiting summer interns for the summer of 2019.  Students who intend to graduate (from undergraduate, masters or PhD programs) in 2019 or 2020 are encouraged to apply.  No prior experience in finance is necessary.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include quantitative research, exploring new trading strategies, and developing related software. Interns participate in the firm’s education program, getting a chance to learn about all aspects of trading and financial markets both formally (in classes) and on-the-job. Our Chicago, New York and London offices collaborate through virtual classes, which are taught by the traders and researchers.  Interns are closely mentored by the firm’s senior traders and developers. The goal is to work on a real world project that the firm could use following the completion of a successful 10 week internship.
